Baptism (also known as a Christening) marks the beginning of a journey with God and a joyful celebration of welcome into the Christian faith.

As the first of the sacraments, ‘windows’ through which God’s love and grace are experienced in a special and powerful way, baptism is a joyful celebration of all that God has done for us and will continue to do as we walk through life with him.

The person who is baptised, be they a babe in arms or more advanced in years, becomes part of the family of the church, not just in the parish where they live but throughout the world!

Baptisms take place on Sundays by arrangement with Rev. Esther, and at 11.30am after the Sung Eucharist.
