Next Date

Tuesday 21st February

3.30pm - 5.30pm

St Andrew's Mothers' Union - providing Christian care and support for families.  Our fellowship is around 35 members. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, at 8pm - once for Corporate Communion and an evening meeting for a programme of talks, social events or a quiz.

As part of our Patronal Festival celebrations, we hold an annual “fish and chip” supper and quiz,

which is very well attended by our parishioners. This is just one of the many ways that we continue to show our love of God through practical acts of friendship, hospitality, service and care for each other.

‘Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.’ Proverbs 22:6

Andrew's Contact Group - “when I needed a neighbour you were there!”

Nearly a quarter of a century ago, in September 1990, a group of volunteers began undertaking neighbourly activities in a spirit of friendship and care.  This service continues today, with our volunteers working to ensure that people living on their own, and those who are becoming more elderly continue to be included in  the life  of the wider community.

Pop-in Tea is held in the Church Hall on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 2 - 4 pm, preceded by Holy Communion at 1.30pm.  Tea, cakes and sandwiches accompanied by fun quizzes and often some form of entertainment are on offer for a modest donation.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
